Principal and Administrator
Elke obtained her B Mus degree in 1989 with distinction at the University of Pretoria and in 1992 she completed her Hon B Mus. She also has an HDE with Music and English (1990) and a Diploma in Music (1990) with harmony and counterpoint as subjects.
Since 1991 Elke has taught the flute, recorder, piano, keyboard and theory of music at a number of schools which include Kemptonpark High School, Kensington High School and Pro Arte.
She also has experience in music typesetting and publishing and had her own publishing company from 1992 to 2000.
At the beginning of 1992 until the end of 2002, she was employed to teach at the Centurion High School Music Centre.
At the beginning of 2003 the Music Centre was privatized and became the Centurion Music Academy where Elke has been active ever since and is currently the Principal and Administrative Manager.
